Avent formula dispenser

For new Mom`s and the Mom`s who might not know... you have got to get a powder formula dispenser. I was given one as a gift from a very switched on Mom and she was right, it is a lifesaver!

The compact dispenser is divided into three sections where pre measured formula feeds can be stored when you are out and about or just need to prepare for a baby sitter. When needed, you just turn the lid to the selected section and pour.......ready to mix.... easy easy!
Plus the section divider can be removed and the cup can then be used for small snacking food.
All parts are microwave, sterilizer and dishwasher safe.

Gucci`s new Childrenswear advertising campaign - Jennifer Lopez and her twins

Gucci`s new childrenswear advertising campaign has just been unveiled.... starring Jennifer Lopez and her two year old twins, Max and Emme. The campaign was shot in Malibu by photographers Mert and Marcus.
It seems every luxury brand is launching a childrenswear range these days.. obviously new parents are willing to spend big bucks on their precious little ones!!
But this is not just any launch...as Gucci will donate US$ 1 million in honor of the launch.... for UNICEF's ‘Schools for Africa’ initiative, with a specific focus on Mozambique and Malawi.
Go Gucci!
Gorgeous..
Jennifer Lopez said she could not say no to the campaign because of the good cause....Gucci will also be donating US$ 50,000 to her non-profit organization, The Maribel Foundation. Which she started with her sister helping to improve the health and medical care of women and children.
Watch the behind the scene footage...looks like they had a lot of fun!

The new children's collection will launch on November 20th.....Universal Children's Day!

Excitement does not even describe it!! Lanvin and H&M seem like a match made in Heaven!!

I am also over the moon as this will be the first time I will be able to be at H&M on the day of the launch instead of at the office...just need to make a plan for Sebastian! As doubt this scene will be baby friendly...picturing a lot of crazy women fighting over a fabulous Lanvin find and it might just get ugly :))

Pop down to the cool Pop up apartment by Kate Spade...

I am a big fan of the Pop up store concept....it adds such excitement for the retail experience, creating a buzz for established brands or testing new ideas. The most recent Kate Spade Pop up store has been taken to a whole new level with a Pop up apartment!!
7 HENRIETTA STREET WC2E 8PW

The charm in the store is that the apartment has been made to look like someone actually lives there, with huge attention to detail, down to jackets slung over chairs, handbags on sofas and clothes in the wardrobe......and the best part... all are available to purchase including some special limited edition "London" designs. Prices ranging from £25 - £900.

The apartment has been split into four rooms; living room, bedroom, kitchen/dining room and dressing room. A sales assistant is in each room ready to serve customers. The store is open till the 10th of November so you should definitely pop down for a squizz around. For those who can not make it the first Kate Spade store is scheduled to open next year in London.

Writing this post has just sparked a longing for London....need to make a plan as it has been way to long since my last London fix!!

By the way...Kate Spade offers some fun nappy bags...might be worth having a look.

Rolling around at the Dolder Hotel in Zurich...

Sebastian enjoyed rolling around the big bed at the beautiful Dolder hotel in Zurich today.... before spitting up a bit of his lunch on the very expensive linen:).....we went to visit Sebastian`s favorite Uncle Paul.....and in his true style of "luxury" he was roughing it at the Dolder :)..

We were all excited to spend the afternoon at the spa and Sebastian was dying for a swim in the nice heated pool but in the end.. no can do! They do not accept babies and children under 12 years old. Obviously this is something you do not take note of before having children of your own but now I am finding more and more 5 star hotels do not allow kids under 12. I was recently helping a friend plan a trip to Cape Town and surprised at how many of the nice hotels would not accept children under 12 years old.
Sebastian having a cuddle with Paul

There is a website Tots Too http://www.totstoo.com/ which specialize in planning luxury family holidays. Offering special deals and highlighting all the child friendly luxury hotels ...they also give you a detailed list of what each 5 star hotel/resort offers such as sterilizer, high chairs, kids clubs, baby sitting and even if the hotel is stroller friendly.

But even though we did not make it to the spa in the end we enjoyed a lovely long lunch in the lobby where Sebastian had enough space on the couch to roll around while we enjoyed a delicious club sandwich!! A fabulous day!

Milk on the Rocks... something for the boys!!

I loved this brand straight away when I read the founder and creative director, Julia Kang was inspired by her son in order to start her company. She found that there was very little interesting kidswear for boys available in the market.  So she decided to build a brand for unisex and boys' clothing. Over the years they have expanded into girls' clothes as well....but still 60% of their collections remain for boys. Yeahhh!:)

Milk on the Rocks has a very cool urban style and famous for their witty, quirky and crazy screen prints, appliqués and embroideries. They are inspired by adult edgy fashion turning it into a cool look for kids from new borns to 12 year olds.

Their new prints for Autumn Winter 10/11

They have a shop in Paris which also sells a fun selection of Japanese toys...which I love!
For my Hong Kong readers....almost the full "Milk on the Rocks" collection can be found at the new Mama Kid store just opened in Central which I think it definitely worth checking out! Plus don`t miss the exclusive designs which they create for Barney`s New York.

Sebastian`s first carrot experience in style!

Sebastian had his first taste of solid food yesterday and boy did he enjoy it!! I thought he would pull funny faces, reject the new texture and of course the strange spoon which is coming towards him...but no...he opened his mouth and gobbled it all down like a champion! At one stage he even pulled my hand..as if to say hurry up Mom!

Of course he was all set with his new Bloom high chair which he received from his Swiss Grandparents....Emil and Niccel. A big Thank you again!! The chair is state of the art and Sebastian will be enjoying lots of yummy meals to come in it! I have blogged about Bloom earlier in order to read the details:

I used a spoon with a soft tip which is gentle on the gums....and learnt you need to have a very large bib...as things get messy:)

Ready for carrots!!

Aésop update for all the Aésop lovers out there...

I was very excited to find a box from Aésop waiting for me when I got home from Hong Kong. They had generously sent me a bottle of the new Perfect Facial Hydrating Cream which I blogged about earlier and was dying to try.
So I have got to say it is pretty fabulous... the smell is heavenly and my skin feels tighter and younger already....ok that might be pushing it:)... but it feels damn good!!:) Thanks so much Aésop!!!
They also just informed me that they have launched a special new product...a Fine Fabric Care with A.P.C....it is a cleanser designed specifically for hand washing delicate garments.....perfect for  washing your new "vintage" baby clothing items :)!

Belle Heir....Vintage clothing for babies and children

So vintage items are not only hip for adults but finding a one of a kind, beautifully crafted item for your tiny tot, dating back as far as the 1900`s, is also pretty cool!

Belle Heir was created out of our love of fine vintage and in appreciation of the care, quality and attention to detail that once went into the construction of clothing: hand-stitching, smocking, pin-tucks, pleating, embroidery and button-work.

They sought out the most unique and original pieces from this lost age of elegance and offer you these treasures to become your child's own, one-of-a-kind keepsakes or beautiful gifts for those you love.

Perfect for a Christening or a special occasion as you obviously need to treat these unique finds with care but there are instructions on their site and they also rate the condition of the pieces as some might have slight imperfections although I guess that is part of the charm and romance of vintage.

Luckily they do ship outside of the US and the prices are reasonable, perfect for a gift.
